Stillwater Medical Center Critical Care
When a patient suffers a heart attack, stroke, shock, respiratory distress or other serious medical issues, it is vital that they receive immediate and intensive care. Stillwater Medical Center's Critical Care Unit differs from our other inpatient units. Specifically trained staff, including physicians, RN's and respiratory therapists, closely monitor and observe only one to two patients at a time, and are adept at providing such care in settings where patients can be given complex assessments and treatments.
Patients may have special equipment in their room, depending on their unique situation and condition, such as:
- Heart Monitors
- Blood Pressure Cuffs
- Respiratory Machines
- Ventilators
