OnCue and the Stillwater Medical Foundation Partner to Expand Lifesaving NICU Care for Newborns

OnCue and the Stillwater Medical Foundation are continuing their partnership to further enhance the OnCue Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by allowing customers to support this lifesaving development when they shop at OnCue.

Every purchase of OnCue’s specialty fountain cup in the Stillwater area from April 1 to June 30 will contribute 50 cents to the enhancement of the OnCue NICU, scheduled to open in 2025.

Premature babies must often be sent out of state because there are not enough NICU beds to allow them to stay close to their families. This 10-bed NICU will serve all of Central and North-Central Oklahoma, helping alleviate the current shortage.

“Nothing prepared me for the day I didn’t hear my son’s heartbeat,” said OnCue President Laura Aufleger. “I never want anyone to experience that, let alone go through it without available care nearby like I was fortunate enough to have at the time.”

The OnCue NICU was named in December 2022 after the company donated a record-breaking $1 million to the facility. With support from the rest of the community, the gift helped Stillwater Medical Foundation fulfill its mission to create a Level II NICU.

By helping to fund the OnCue NICU, customers can expect to be a small part of a life-changing experience for local infants and their families. The advancement of the facilities at Stillwater Medical will allow families to get closer treatment for their children “when every second counts,” according to Aufleger.
