Misty Branam, D.O. attended East Central University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing. She then went on to attend medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing her Internal Medicine residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, she became Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 2010.

Dr. Branam's passion for medicine began at a very early age. She believes that starting her career as a nurse provided her with valuable insights that enhanced her ability to care for her patients as a doctor. She chose to specialize in internal medicine because it allows her to treat patients comprehensively, with a particular focus on diabetes, autoimmune diseases, endocrinology, and cardiology. According to Dr. Branam, this holistic approach is crucial for addressing the diverse and interconnected aspects of her patients' health. In recognition of her achievements, Dr. Branam was named one of the Journal Record's Top 50 Women of the Year in 2022.

Dr. Branam is married and has three children. Her hobbies include boating and attending Oklahoma State sporting events.
