Dr. Swayze was raised in Purcell, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Swayze’s choice to pursue medicine stems from his love for science and serving others. His interests include Internal Medicine and GI.

Dr. Swayze has been the chief resident for the 2023-2024 year as well as the 2024-2025 year. This honor was chosen by his peers and attendings. He is involved in curriculum development, resident wellness, and quality improvement.

Dr. Swayze and his wife Paige enjoy spending time with their son Beckham and dog Harley. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and cooking.
